I never even THINK about Christmas shopping until December. And I usually do all of my shopping at the very last minute, like less than a week before. Believe it or not, I really love when the stores are all crowded and chaotic and people are killing each other over the last whatever on the shelf.

I had this freaking nightmare that it was christmas and I had NO decorations up!!! I was devastated. I woke up and I was in sweats.
You see, I take christmas seriously. I only get a couple of gifts for my son, so there is not much presents shopping. However, decorations galore! Cookies. Caroling! Fundraising parties! Over a month of comfy cozy loving warmth! That's what christmas should be and that is what I want my house to be like. Never mind the shopping and presents ... there is nothing more precious than memories and time spent together. This is my first christmas where I get to call ALL the shots and am in a place where I am sooo comfortable and what is supposed to be our HOME! To not be ready for it is truly a nightmare Before that, I need to get up more Halloween decorations and bake more pizza
