Default Congrats Liverpool!

Did I miss a thread or has no one posted about this?

Anyway...
Amazing game... very few teams on this planet could have come back on the pitch after half-time being 3-0 down to AC Milan and go home with the cup.

Fully deserved, the best team, the best coach and the best supporters won.
One of the greatest finals ever.

I hope they get to defend their title next year.

It was a fantastic game, but since I support AC Milan we lost the game and I lost my voice as well. And I agree on Liverpool having the best supporters, but the best team? I think in this match the teams were pretty close.

I think Liverpool were the better team in the way that Milan was more like a sum of superstars rather than a team, at least last night.

Anyone else noticed it's always the superstar of the team that misses the decisive penalty kick? Beckham, Baggio, Shevchenko...

over the full game ac played better but liverpool held them off which has it's own merits and considering most teams probably wouldnt even want to bother playing a 2nd half 3 down to milan, they came back in fine form.

I didn't even think that they'd be doing a tour round liverpool with it. f i had i'd have rounded up some chaps and headed down on an early bus for a party today.
