Thanks again everyone. Because I am still working in the same company, I didnt have to work my notice, therefore I actually start at 8am on Monday morning. Its a bit more travelling for me in this job, but I think it will be worth it. Im happy!

Well after two days...so far so good!
Im really enjoying it up to now. Its early days and anything could happen yet, LOL! Im in a brand new department with only one other person and my manager. My actual work is pretty straight foward to be honest, im basically just processing orders off the internet, forwarding them on to another department, then recieving them back to do further work on them. Its a basic system really, but its working very well. No hicups thus far. Updating the companies website a couple of times a day is also part of my new role, which I am getting used to. Although it has been relatively quiet in its first week of operation, once it recieves more promotion, then things will pick up a little bit. At the moment I have plenty of time to surf the internet and drink lots of cups of tea I updated the books tonight ('Doing the figures') for the first time too...which I have to continue doing... thats definately a good thing to add to my CV. I am so pleased I applied for this. Perhaps not something I want to be doing as a career, but this is a step in the right direction for sure. The only way is up! I am very happy!
