Conversion for Love?

Ive read what I can of this post, is it really about religion or you changing your way of life completely, that they would be happy with you being part of her life. CHocies like this can seem simple at first when you are madly in love , down the line you can resent the choice you made and the lifestyle you/children have to lead to lead in order to not bring disgrace on Anna or her family. However saying that I know people who are happy in this situation , it just takes a lot of thought and commitment.

Haven't been online recently - just checking back on this.

Weekend went really well - parents really made the effor - got a hug from the mum when I walked in. Was difficult to talk with the mum, as her English is not good. Spent most of the time sitting down, watching TV or chatting.

Seemed to accept me & invited me back. Still left with the problem that they want me to convert (more so that the kids aren't confused if one of us is religios & the other isn't) - but the decision has been left until after I qualify (should be about a year, although suddenly I am in no rush to qualify as then things like marriage will start to have to happen).

Also, they are still going to have issues with the community!

All in all though, far better than I could have hoped for & I got out alive!!

My parents are this weekend!

I'm glad it went better than expected Mike.

I know you'll still have some issues to consider but if you let me tell you this...don't let anyone rush you to anything.
