I'm going to Orlando for three days to see Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Then I'm supposed to go to Cocoa Beach (the east coast of Florida, I live on the west coast) for two more days. As long as I can find a hotel their now.

Is Islands of Adventure a water park? Ahhh, sounds nice

Good luck with the hotel room, since now is "snowbird season" - maybe not quite yet, though.

Nope, not a water park. Just another Theme Park. It has a lot more rides than the regular Universal. They are sister parks that sit side by side. And yes, the snowbirds are back in full force! But, they all have their own homes here. They don't stay in hotels! It's insane trying to get around here now. Traffic is out of control and lines in the stores are just crazy.

I lived in South Florida for about 7 years. I know what you are talking about. In the winter times, it took me twice as long to get to work
not to mention the numerous times my car was hit by one of those boats the blue-haired people drive. LOL. Don't really miss it

Oh, and try go out for dinner anything before 9pm - even on weekdays. Looonnngg waits. But they do offer those "early bird specials", lol. omg.

LOL
