Default Dear Americans,

Do people actually support Trump or is this just one big prank on the rest of the world?

The real problem is that all the other Republican candidates are even BIGGER (and consequently less funnier) pranks on the world. Trump is ahead in the polls only because he's the lesser of fourteen evils.

The Democratic presidential candidates held their first national debate last night -- you got the overwhelmingly comforting sense that you were finally in the company of civilized mature adults and not in the middle of a day care center at snack time.

Exactly - and it was a nice relief.

From what I've seen of transcripts, they are all coming across as a bunch of lying bastards who are making promises they can't keep. (Both sides.) I don't feel comforted at all.

If Bernie were running in Canada, I would vote for him.

What I wan to know is how the Democrats are going to provide all this free stuff and how are they going to provide it to people like me--the working poor? I get taxed to death as it is and get NO BREAKS for anything. My health insurance costs are ridiculous. I'd love to have free healthcare.... but who is going to pay for it? Someone has to. My medical costs are already marked up 1000% to pay for those who don't pay for anything. There isn't a magic fairy who's just going to bestow free everything to everybody. It all falls back on the taxpayers and that's me because even the Democrats are in the pockets of big business when you get right down to it. They have to have campaign funds like everyone else.

I like a lot of what Bernie has to say.... but how the HELL is he going to make it work in real life??

This is the time of the year (four years, actually) when I feel sad I'm not American.

I wish I was American, so I could cast my vote for Trump. I believe he is what the world needs in these tough times and with all his achievements in business, he's the only one that could make America great again.

And my question remains--who's going to pay for all the free stuff? Where's the Free Fairy? Sounds good... but tell me where it's coming from.
