Suddenly, We Weren't Born To Follow has taken on profound significance.

Still a shit song though

Honestly, it might feel like the world has ended. Felt like that here when Scotland didn't vote for Independence and then when the UK voted to leave the EU.

Life goes on. Like semigoodlooking says it's probably all just a blip in history, though I get the feeling we're all living in those interesting times that Chinese philosophy is about.

He is making changes in a much better way with his Foundation work. Stick with that, making music, and then just going into the voting booth and vote how he wants to vote.
1) That's such a defeatist way of looking at anything. Don't try, it might not do anything?

2) If you think people voted for Trump because Jon was involved then....yeah no. There's just nothing to that theory.

President Duh Donald lost the popular vote by a whopping two points -- which cheers me up because he does not have anything even remotely resembling a mandate; and disappoints me because it's all the more reason why Hillary should have beaten him by a cheatproof margin (at least four points).

Hillary lost because she made the exact same mistake she made with Obama eight years ago: trying to coast in the female vote alone, her pedigree, and a corporatist/moderate agenda that is OPPOSITE of her husband's. Obama beat her (and then John McCain) by convincing enough black voters that he could bring in enough white and independent voters to make their votes count. What Hillary didn't do was try to appeal to enough men -- she only needed to convince enough of them that even a competent female ex-president's spouse was a better choice than a incompetent male vulgarian.

It's not just a blip in history. Our Supreme Court will be filled with ignorant and hateful ideology that will scar the country for decades to come. This was an election with it in mind to hurt and control people.

And no, it's not really a shit song.

At least someone is happy that a clearly inept individual will be running our country.

It's indeed a sad day, but one has to wonder are really all those millions of Americans racist/uneducated? I've had many conversations (and jokes) since I came to the UK a week before Brexit and I'd say 99% of the British people I've spoken to are very upset and have been very apologetic and it really surprises me, why apologize to the rest of the world when so many of your compatriots are voting something so different to what you stand for? Shouldn't you be more worried about why this is happening and how to heal those wounds? Ignoring that majority even if what they represent is against your believes won't make it go away, I'm afraid...

It's really a crazy world

I guess it says something about the candidate who loses against Donald Trump of all people. Why didn't you keep Bernie Sanders? Is that because he made a lot of sense? (trying to find some humor in this)
