Default Deeeetroit Basketball!!!!

Congrats to the Detroit Pistons!!! The 2004 NBA basketball Champs!! I am so proud of this team. They beat the Los Angeles Lakers 4 games to 1. No one gave them a chance, except me and other Piston fans. The Pistons are the embodiment of Detroit, the embodiment of Michigan and the whole midwestern US. They are the most unselfish, hard working, humble pro sports team I have ever seen. I'll start with the cliches here, They gave a total team effort to win. They proved once again that DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. Woo Hoo!! What a series!!

Can you tell I am hyper?!?!?

Bah...I wasn't a happy girl. I was so sure the Lakers would win and Malone would finally get the championship ring that he so deserves. Oh well...there's always next year. Hopefully!

Not a big basketball fan, but what was up with the rioting in Detroit? Geez, the Pistons won and the fans rioted?!!!! I can only imagine what would have happened if the Pistons had lost!

I've never understood that! When the Lightning won the Stanley Cup we partied and celebrated. Nothing got set on fire or stolen. People were happy and had a good time. We threw a parade and had a big party. I just don't get why people have to destroy their city because their team won. But then again, Tampa is a lot prettier than Detroit...LOL. We don't want to ruin our nice town.

Exactly. Everyone thinks NY is so bad, yet you never see stuff like that happen there when the Yankees win or any other team for that matter. Stupidity.
