the only problem I ever have with the dentist is that he might as well be wearing a mask and stripey jumper.

I swapped dentists a few years ago and within a few months went from "having perfect teeth for my age" to "in dire need of work"

i think the guy was in dire need of new italian shoes to be honest. even the student dentists take the piss when they can, trying to book 2 or more appointments (with the added fees of course) instead of doing it in a oner. I tell them just to get to work and get it done but I can imagine a whole lot of people are too "polite" and let him rip them off everytime.

Good luck with the dentist Becky. Yesterday I had an ultrasound done because of severe stomach pain. It showed that I have gall stones and will need my gall bladder removed. I've never had surgery of any sort and just the thought of it kept me up all night.

Good luck Becky. I am sure you will be fine.

ALTHOUGH! I have a slight problem with one of my teeth at the moment. When ever I eat chocolate, I get a pain after I have eaten it and its really quite painfull. I dont get it, with eating anything else, and I have been just trying to eat on the other side of my mouth hehe. I am also scared of dentists, but I have always been pretty lucky with my teeth. I somehow have managed to stay free of any treatment whatsoever. I dont even have one filling. Yay! (I guess I shouldnt speak too soon! lol)

Good luck with the surgery, Deborah. My friend Julie works with a lady who had hers out on a Thusday and she was back at work on Monday. I guess it can be done, but don't push yourself!

My mother went to the same dentist today and they did her a temporary crown with her broken tooth. That ticks me off too. Why did they start work on hers and not mine? My money is just as green as hers.

Becky

I've been really lucky with my teeth. No fillings, nada :P I tried to dodge the dentist when I was younger, but there was one at the school that I used to go to, so there was no chance of that :P
Good luck Becky and Deborah
