My cats are semi-wild. They are hunting all night in the forrest and coming back in the morning.

I'm sure our cats are related!!! That has happened so often!! The times that I haven't had to protect one of them from the others... especially my tom cat, as he is the only male with 3 other females.. they pick on him a lot.. so sad...

Another feature of cats is that they enjoy spreading their hair on exactly the things that you don't want them to. If there's a pile of clean laundry around, they are sure to find it, love it, and leave a pile of hair on it!

Oh, how I love cats!!!
the laundry bit is universally true...

i have a test for all you cat-owners...

put a plain piece of A4 paper in the middle of a tidy living room floor, and see if they sit on it

But didn't you know that that's what your legs are for??? In the cat's eyes, we are just walking (and sometimes screaming in pain) scratchpoles!! I'm sure you've all seen the look of shock on a cat's face after he's dug his claws in you as if to say "what??? Does that hurt???"

Put anything that's not supposed to be there on the floor, and they'll sit on it. Mine love boxes and bags too. If it's anything different, they have to investigate it.

For us too! And we bought this special grass for him to eat... Does he eat that? No! He prefers the plants he's not supposed to eat

i'm talking 18 years ago now... (if not nearly 30! ) but as for our old cats, one my mum and Dad refer to as the "gourmet cat"

he'd only eat salmon, cooked meats, expensive food...

one time he'd eaten some treacle that was left uncovered in the kitchen and couldn't open his mouth
