I don't hate them. There are a few really great people over there. I used to post there all the time before I found this board. I have twice as many posts there as I do here. But even when I visited Backstage regularly, I didn't get involved in many of the discussions because they were so stupid. Like Kathleen, I feel much more comfortable here.

IMHO, this Backstage hate thing got old a long time ago. I used to post here and there, but ended staying here because I felt more comfortable being part of a smaller, yet more global, fan community. Plus, we're allowed talk about bootlegs here!

I have nothing against them, as I don't have any past experiences to waver my opinion of them. I just think they're silly and kind of dumbfounded sometimes.

I don't hate Backstagers. I don't know them personally, so how could I hate them? I think they are just a different type of fan base than what you have here. The fans here are more independant in their mind set. Like others before me have said, I never really felt comfortable over on the Backstage board. I like it better here.

I was a jovitalker long before I signed up at Backstage. And often when I post there, its in the Games and NBJ forum. This is my home!

Life is too short to hate anyone. What is the fascination with backstage here anyway?

I think it can be compared to how we posted messages from the Orlando Bloom site during the whole, Bon Jovi vs. Orlando Bloom for a magazine contest. It's fun to see other fan groups reactions to things compared to ours. I think we're a little more mature than backstage with what we say about certain issues.

I don't think it necessarily has to do with maturity. Its just that here you get both sides of an arguement. You don't like something the band is doing...you are entitled to your opinion without fear of being kicked off the boards or hounded by a lynch mob.

That is why I left Backstage. I got a bunch of really nasty PMs once because I said I didn't like All About Loving You.
