do some people ever piss you off so much

I don't punch people who annoy me because I know its wrong. I admit, I have a bit of a temper. Everyone does if you push them far enough. But I keep it under control at all times, just like every other sane person on the planet. And if I'm not going to fly off the handle and hit someone just because they annoy me, I'm sure not going to shoot them.

What would it take for me to shoot someone? A clear and present danger to my family/rights/life in such proportion that it justified an immediate forceful response.

What if you get bullied at your job or at school? You don't want to go to school anymore because your life isn't getting any better. In fact, you get depressed because of it, lose your temper because of it, and shoot the ones who do that stuff to you. And don't tell me you're not like that, because nobody knows if he/she is like that.

What would be the reason to have a gun for those other people who "accidentally" shot someone? They probably bought their gun for the same reasons. This is exactly why people like you (and me) shouldn't have guns.

Violence is not a good thing .. and violence is not always physical .... the need to dominate the other during a fight or an argument is what kills very often (and you don't need a gun to kill but a gun will be the most dangerous weapon because the damage is big and the way to use it doesn't implies to be really violent .... you just have to push the lil thing under your finger ... and bam your life and the person in front of you s life is over ) ... Jim asked are you tempted by knocking down the ppl who irritates you that means I think is : when you are irritated by someone do you DREAM you can kick this person a$$ big time ? ... why ? just to *SHOW* this person you dominate the situation ... to be physically violent is more dangerous than to be emotionnaly violent but it's the same process (and to be totally non violent is not JUST to not have a gun ...) most of the ppl manage to control their violence and to not express it physically ..the stress you get (on the stress scale ) through a emotionnaly violent attitude is impressive though ... the best thing is then to send your violence through an alternative way ... we learn to control our agressivity in our societies but the most quiet person can turn into the worst killer if you provocate such a stress that this person won't control himself (herself) anymore ...so the safe way is to not being provocative toward the bullies all around

Precisely. That's the only legally and morally excusable use of lethal force, to prevent harm of equal proportion from being used against another, innocent, person.

this isn't a case of someone just annoying me. I'm actually fairly laid back nowadays but present circumstances have brought upon the situation that if i actually see this person I'll have to avoid them because I'll definetely attack them verbally and quite possibly physically.

I have my reasons.

let's hope this person won't show up because you would be the wrong one if you ever do something against them .. the attacker is never right even if sometimes the attacker is the victim ... very tough situation

not saying it's right but now and again some people r3eally do deserve to get their ass kicked hard.

toughie problem ... I hope your anger will calm down because beside making you feel better to be violent won't change anything ... the jerk will stay a jerk (to your eyes or to the world ) ... a$$ kicked or not

I am anti-violence but agree that some people really do need negative feedback!!!!
