I wish there was a delicate way to say this, but I'm afraid there is not. If you honestly and truly believe a poorly edited, non-scientific "study" is an accurate representation of America, and you choose to base your beliefs on that, then you're an idiot. Pot, meet kettle.

Ponrauil:That study is interesting. I'm a little disappointed that roughly 2/3 want to get rid of Israel (though it is worth pointing out that they do not mention how, as you had said before). The measuring of how they want their country set up is interesting too...was there no measuring for conservative, secular?

My belief still stands that we should leave their society alone except/until they hurt us or pose an imminent threat.

It's the other way around exactly the same now isn't it?

What is showed in the media are only extremist muslims, but then again the opinion about muslim has been generalized from here to Tokyo, and YES this is mainly done by the US (and there media).
Of course I'm generalizing also, but still there are too much American that have a whole wrong idea about the Middle East wich is done by America itself and with that legitate thereselves with all what is done.
It isn't suprising that the US has less ''allies' then ever before, that the general opinion outside the US has taken a whole different direction? It's not without reasons....

Of course I don't believe its a fair represantation, there were only hillbillies interview for crying out loud. BUT, altough exagarated, its has his own truth in it.
