Yes I believe in 6th sense ... everyone have this ability but few ppl know how to use it ... there are levels depending if you are good or excellent .. you have perception , then intuition and then 6th sense ....

That's a load of ********.
We use way more than just 10% of our brain.
Just Maybe not at the same time.
we use 10% of its overall capability.

anyhoo

mmmm 6th sense.... i dunno. i believe our brain picks up a whole lot more than we're privvy too n now and again it alerts us to that ie instinct, knowing when somethign shitty is going to go down but that's an amalgamtion of verious senses and feelings.

Also, I think it really is only the ability of reading certain signals. Ie. If you've ever met a person and that person just rubbed you wrong and later on you found out such person was 'bad' -- all you did was pick up on certain body language, subconsciously, of course.
Yeah, i agree with that. I do think that people have a sixth sense to tell them when something bad is going to happen, to kind of prepare them for it so that it won't be such a shock. But i don't think that people can predict exact things like dates and times, just general things.

But saying that i saw a programme on Channel 5 (in the UK) a while ago about this man who paints his dreams and he predicted a gas attack in Tokyo in the mid 90's and 9/11. With those he got almost everything correct, especially with 9/11 he predicted the date and that planes would crash into them. He photographed himself with the painting beside a clock in a bank to show when he had painted tehm so you could see they weren't fake. Personally i believed that he did have some sixth sense, although he did paint a lot of painting and only a few came true, and i am pretty gullable.

So, generally i do believe in a sixth sense, but i absolutely hate it when people say that dogs can predict fire, because, hello, they have a much better sense of smell than humans.

Sorry, for the long post.

Don't you think that perhaps he should have told someone before it happened then and saved thousands of lives?

Appearenty he did, and at the end of the programme he phoned up someone again to tell them about another possible disater, but they don't believe him- they just think he he is mad and attention seeking.

I believe in intuition but don't know whether that classifies as "sixth sense". At any rate it's not for large scale events, just small things

The animals in the tsunami probably anticipated it for other reasons different to sixth sense though, I'm sure.

i think i believe in it.

every time someone close to me died, i just knew it instantly even before someone called me to tell me. same with illnesses. i know it sounds strange, but its true. for example, once i was on holiday with my sister in another part of germany, the rest of our family was at home. suddenly i had a really bad feeling that my grandmother had died (she was feeling perfectly fine until then). so i called home and asked how my grandma was and i was told that she“d died 30 minutes before.

If you have a premonition and tell someone, they'll think you're mad. I can understand why people don't go around blabbing about them.
