I always go around my house barefoot or with socks on. It bothers me when people come over and dont take their shoes off! I feel offended, and I dont know why - probably because the floors are clean, and I must prove they are by having my friends romp through my house. Sometimes, I have to repeat myself by saying, "Dude, its fine - take your dayum shoes off." I've always been a barefooted girl, started when I was a wee one. Must be that Northeastern American 'curse'.

Do you wear your shoes in the house? And where do you live?
What an stupid topic, I don't see the use of it

Thierry, do you mean a stupid topic for Dear Abby to write a column about?

Or do you mean a stupid topic for me to post the poll about? If you mean me, this is the NBJ forum, and I'll admit I was bored, and just little bit curious as until I read the column I thought pretty much everyone, except tv & movie families, took their shoes off when they entered the house.

I'm guessing he thought it was stupid becuase who really gives a ****? Having said that, there's no reason you shouldn't post it.
