KRB you couldn't be any more wrong when you said this. I live in Australia and believe me, everyone over here cared....and still does care (myself included)!!!!! and I think that America got a lot of support from certain countries which goes to show that it is a global issue.
As for the Sept 11 Japan show, that would be because Japan have Bon Jovi's biggest support base (i think), and the US is one of the smaller ones. However I do think it would be more appropriate for them to play in America, given that the album is based on these events.

Yep, we'd definitely be surprised if you told us that.

Only if you combine your IQ WITH that of Martin's as you seem to be pulling your information, opinions, attitude and inferiority complexes from the same pool of anger and misinformation.

Americas refusal to join an international court suggets that they think that only Americans can prosecute Americans. In other words, there justice system is the best in the world and everyone elses is inferior.

Yet they seem to be enforcing there laws on countries such as Afghanistan. If only Americans can prosecute Americans, then surely only Afghanistants can prosecute Afghanistans.

This seems to me like they think they are the most superior country in the world, so why are you attacking Martin? Could it be that you misinterpreted, or didnt understand, his first sentence, because you are stupid?

I kept telling myself I wouldn't get involved in this thread but there are a few things I feel that needs to be said:

- Anyone who feels that America deserved the attack on 9/11 is horribly wrong and there is nothing that can possibly justify the actions that took place.

- Anyone who believes the attack was unprovoked is also wrong because the attack was a result of US foreign policies and a mostly arrogant one at that.

Having made those two points we can argue all we want as there are enough historical and logical points to support both the Anti American and Anti Terrorist philosophies. But the truth to the matter is that is done with. The world doesn't make a big deal out of the anniversary dates of the bombing of Hiroshima and nagasaki so I don't see why a big deal needs to be made out of 9/11 in the future.

I am a New Yorker [well have been for 12 years till i had to move recently] and I have my personal horror memories of the incident but thats for me to keep to myself. I'm not going to sit around and cry on 9/11/2002 because of what happened a year ago. Same goes for the band...they have a job to do, people to entertain and have no need to explain their schedules.

With that said I leave you all to get back to questioning each others IQs.

i really don't want to quarrel with you about american politics on a BON JOVI web-board but though i think i have to state a few opinions:
1. i don't think much of krb's sentence that no intelligent person outside the U.S. cares about sept 11- i'd say the contrary: every intelligent person outside the U.S. should care about 9/11
2. the U.S. have to blame themselves for the 9/11 attacks- i've already told you the reasons in my last post
3. what the U.S. do with the afghanistan prisoners on guantanamo bay is simply a contempt for human beings and with one word a cheek and it will rouse negative feelings of the arab world and i hope also from many other organizations like A.I. and hopefully EU- it actually doesn't solve any problems- it will bring even more!

this was my last post on this topic- you may not be pleased but the majority in austria and germany thinks the same- or in a similar way! but to excuse the things i wrote: scio ut nescire
this is a bj webboard and we should be talking about the best band existing!

I notice that not many Americans are replying to this topic. After spending too much time in America, I realised that the news Channels, and the papers, do not report things that are negative towards the 'land of the free'. When I got home I watched some proper news and the first thing I saw was criticism of US policy. I bet you Americans didn't know that many countries are against the US's proposed plan to create an international team that will travel the world and find and kill terrorists? It must be surprising to know that you are hated by almost every country in the world.

My heart goes out to the people of Okinawa who have to live there lives knowing that there are rapists from 'the home of the brave' living on the same island.

The US should blame themselves for 9/11?????
What the f*ck!?

Come to think of it those were more than 6,000 people that died that day that were not bulliing other countries.
I dont know how to respond to this most of you replied respectfully to this Jackass but I just cant do it.
Dont you think that the in U.S. live alot of people that arent responsible for whatever it is your bitter about!!

My advice is go out man.Just go out and see that were not a bunch of F*cking vigilantes bulliing other countries. Were not a f*cking Klan either.
We are a country.and a proud one at that.

I think your comment that you are not bullying other countries will be disputed by many people. The general message after 9/11 was that countries are either with america, or against them. I don't care what you heard on CNN, or whatever news you watch, because that is just American news.

America: No, we will not sign the Kyoto treaty.
Rest of World: Please do, otherwise it will be dead in the water, and 25% of the global warming producing gases come from you.
America: No, it will hurt our economy.

Okinawa: Please hand over the three servicemen, who are in a base on Japanese soil, who raped a 12 year old school girl.
America: No.

Seoul Olympic committee: We have found that some of your athletes are positive for drugs. Please remove them from the Olympic team.
America: No, and if this news gets public, we will withdraw the entire American team from the Olympics, then the Olympics will mean nothing.

That is the problem with the US. The citizens are ignorant as to what actually goes on outside their own country.

Why don't you go and sue McDonalds for being overweight?
