Does anyone else find it offensive...

It is not the facts that is the problem; it is your overwhelming, antagonistic and, quite frankly, borderline psychotic anti-American stance that is the problem here. Any American that thinks this country is perfect is choosing to live with their head in the sand. Any foreigner who thinks for one moment that all Americans are the same, is only proving their own ignorance.

We may have our problems, and some of them very big, but when your country is renamed Utopian, THEN you can talk to me about mine. Don't go messing in my house until you can keep YOUR house in order. And don't drivel on about American policy either. Bottom line: through all your words, you have a big boner about America, Americans and our lifestyle and principles. That's fine. Just admit it. You don't like Americans. But you are just as brainwashed by YOUR media and YOUR propaganda as you claim Americans are by theirs. So accept you don't like us, you have incredible contempt for us and will take almost any opportunity to trash Americans you can get. And then we'll all just move on to talk about the band.

I think that KRB 102 has stated a lot of his opinions in this forum. The reason why these statements are called opinions are because there is 2 sides to the story. If there isn't 2 sides then they are called a fact.
In this case because there are 2 sides to the story, and people post from every different end of the world, the opinions of some will obviously collide with another, and because everyone is entitled to their opinions, they will speak up about them.
This topic in a way was always bound for disagreement, but in this case it has gone beyond disagreement and into personal attacks.
I think if we are going to say our opinions we should raise valid points, not just mudsling at everyone else.

I wasn't intended to reply to this topic, but just as Mr. Sambo I'll tell you what I think.

This is not meaning to offend ANYBODY!

1. Since when is DryCounty a place for discussing politics?
2. Everybody has their own opinion. Remember: in politic discussions nothing can be called a fact.Everybody made their point and everybody has the right to do so.
3. I am not from the US. I don't know the public feeling about 11/9 there. Over here it means very less anymore.
4. When I look at the 11/9 conflict I see both parties acting wrongfully. The so-called terrorist justify their action at 11/9 because they were sick of the American interference everywhere. If this is so, the US has no right to interfere with everything. You get the action-reaction thing and at the end nobody knows the "why's" and how it got started.
5. When you disagree with somebody, this gives you NO right to use violence like they used at 11/9. All those people at WTC had nothing to do with it.
6. When you start a so-called fair war, start a fair war. The POW's from Afghanistan (did I spelled that right?) were locked up in cages in Cuba like some animals. The only POW who got a decent cell, was an American........
7. No body has the right to diss people's feelings here. As I can understand 11/9 is very much alive there. The 1-year remembrance will happen with all of the baggage that comes with it.
8. I can understand Bon Jovi won't be part of it because it could be seen as a publicity stunt.



Whoah, looks like a whole speech. I hope I made my point. I could narrow the number of points down I think, but I'll leave it this way. When you didcuss politics at a music board (which DC is) don't tell anyone he/she is stupid. No opinion is stupid as long it is explained why a person thinks so.
