One example: a few months back, a deserted island belonging to Morocco, just off of its coast, was being occupied by members of the Spanish military. This caused a big dispute which was finally resolved through a plan that was being brokered by the US
I have to correct you here, cause what happened was just the OPPOSITE. Actually it was a SPANISH Island (wich is very near to Morocco) and was occupied by members of the Morocco Army, and the USA didn't make to much to solve the incident (althought the incident involved the NATO, cause Spain is a NATO member), the Spanish army did it, expelling the intruders without shooting any bullet.

Whe are you From? How could you get the information so distorted?
