Default Does anyone feel sorry for John Leslie??

I have to say im one of the people who does feel sorry for him. According to the law he's an innocent man but yet he's lost his job, 10 months of his life and his repuations in ruins. I dont think he should have been named unless he was found guilty of the charges brought against him. Like they say mud sticks and his careers practically over now.

I wouldn't be too worried about him, he has still got his Blue Peter badge, which means he can get in to lots of exhibitions, absolutely free!

Yeah, I do feel sorry for him. The photo of him in the paper today with tears in his ears is heartbreaking.

he wouldn't have to be suing anyone if he hadnt been blamed.

i don't doubt for a minute that hes a sleazy guy, in fact one of my girlfriend pals whos a model said he was chasing after her for a while and was relentless but never wierd or scary u know (just like most guys) but she said he was genuinly a nice guy and when she said she wasnt interested cos she had a boyfriend he apologtised and left her alone.

there was a slag that uised to stay next to me who accused a guy of raping her (they were both 14 at the time) because her mumf ound out she'd shagged him so she sed he forced her. age of consent or not, this guy got hauled in front of court and only got off because it was at a party and one of his mates had walked into the room and said she was on top of him talking to him n stuff.

there are bad guys out there who do rape people and they should be sent to jail and let the guys in there sort them out but theres also bad woman who lie about things like that either for attention or money. same happened to the hamiltons.

ulrika johnson should get her as sued off of her. ive seen her on tv talking about affiars and stuffs she's had but then when shes got a book to sell she bring s out the big guns and says shes been raped, it gets out and surprise surprise handfuls of woman suddenly remember that he raped them over 5 years ago.

ive never believed once that he was a rapist, a bit forceful? yes but when ur looking at tarts like ulrika johnson how r u supposed to know.

I feel sorry for him. I don't think people should be named anyway until proven guilty, the press had a field day with this. It reminds me of Craig Charles a few years ago, if I remember correctly he was cleared of all charges too, but his carreer was destroyed. That just isn't right.

yeah id forgot all about craig charles too.

fair enough ulrika didnt name him but people in the know will have knew exactly who she was talking about and thats y some retard on channel 5 blurted it out.

i hope she goes to jail to set some precedent on this.

if tony martin went to jail to deter anyone else from shooting people breaking into their home then she should be jailed to deter people from lying about that. suing her for slander or libel isn;t enough, the man probably won;t ever be the same even if he has been cleared.

I agree. I think there should be some penalty to falsely naming someone, especially in a rape charge. It's already quite hard to get someone charged with rape, but if some women just try to charge someone as payback or revenge, I think they should go to jail with misleading the court or something.
