Every one's offering solutions on how to avoid hangover, not how to get rid of one. And like I said, the only way to cure hangover is to drink some more. Hangover is a withdrawal symptom and you can only cure it by some more alcohol to ease the withdrawal.

Yeah come to think of it, we have a thing called Carnaval in the south of Holland, means nothing more then everybody dressed as something drinking for 5 days straight. For me normally the drinking in those days starts at waking up... and never have problems untill the 6th day...

yeh alcohol makes you dehydrated but only drink water if you havent had a meal a few hours before you drink or you will be sick

hangovers = your body being dehydrated and low on salts.

i used to work in a supermarket at 7am weekends and tried every single drink you can imagine to get rid of hangovers and nothing works better than water. red bull, lucozade, coke etc... all have caffeine and will just dehydrate you more even if you doont feeli like it will.

a hair of the dog works but if you're going to have a curer make it a bloody mary or vodka and fresh orange. all the vitamins and nutrients in the juice really helps. you might want to wait a while too. i had a pint this morning after last nights depravities and it knocked me senseless because i still had alot of alcohol in my system.

having a packet of crisps helps build up your salt levels again, alot of people don't realise just how important body salts are.

a cold-ish shower helps.

if it's an optiion, stay in bed and sleep it off.

one thing im going to try next time im badly hungover is oral rehydration thberapy. it's basically a pint of water with some sugar and salt in it. they give it to hydrate kids in africa so i'm assuming there's some merit to it...

Not true. No matter how much you drink fluids an/or eat, if you drink enough, you'll have a hangover.

I bought this little vitamin B12 bottles and they do wonders. One botlle of that and everything is fine. On the other hand, I also tend to drink water as well after each shot of vodka or after each beer. That sort of keeps hangovers at moderate levels. But those vitamin B12 thingies...AMAZIN!

Here's a picture of that:
