I always wondered
My sister even cried on a couple of McGyver episodes... I think men don't relate as much to the characters or the story of a movie as women do, maybe we have less compassion to begin with as well. We also always have in the back of our mind that "it's just a movie".
Probably takes a greater emotion to get us crying than it does for women, that's all. It's probably due to our hormonal differences as well.
