Yes Christmas does come too early! Last week I was in Macy's and they already had all the Christmas trees up and in some departments they were even playing Christmas music! It wasn't even Halloween yet! I hate when stores do that. By the time Christmas finally comes I am sick of it all.

As for shopping, I usually do all mine the week before. I actually like to shop with all the hectic last-minute crowds. It's much more fun. :P

I was in downtown Toronto almost two weeks ago and dragged my brother into the Bay. They already had their Christmas decorations up and stuff like that!!! Too early!

Even though I like the atmosphere of shopping with the crowds like that I can't. Most of my gifts have to be sent to Atlanta and New Jersey, so I need to get them early and get them mailed. That takes some of the fun out of it.

i wish xmas (the actual day) came faster so i could finally see me family again

about shops already selling xmas stuff - i am sick of it! in my opinion they should start at the beginning of december. the way it is done nowadays only causes me to be sick of christmas even before it arrives

i don't mind whatsoever - I'm looking forward to Christmas a lot this year, and it's nice sometimes to have the big buildup. You can build your excitement to Christmas without having to actually buy the things that or on sale in September.

When i went in some shops before Halloween to find some funny things for my kids, all was gone, it was the 25th of October, everything for Chritmas was ready ! In every shop (once again !) they give catalogues to your kids, all about Christmas, it's too early !! I love the shopping for Christmas, it's a real pleasure, but i also like doing it in December, but as all the toys and things are already arrived, you have to do your shopping before, because beginning of December you won't find what your precious kids asked for .... it means you have to ask them in November what they'd like to have, so the letter for Father Christmas is done in the middle of November and after that, everyday, they ask when is it, when he will come !!!! It's a long time for kids .... it's really too early now, it's only a marketting thing and it's a shame.
