most places really don't give a shit how many times uve been in there or how much u've spent there.
case study: there's a little family run music shop 20 minutes away from here. now over the years ive got to know the guys in there really well and have gigged with one of the guys sons and become good friends with him and his old band. now cos they're a little shop they can't buyin alot of stock so don't have alot of choice but anytime i'm in there they're great to deal with, will order anything if they can and give discounts etc...
now since they don't have a big selection of amps, guitars etc... i usually need to go to 1 or 2 shops in glasgow. now ive bought amps, guitars, lots of pedals and spend well over £2,000 in these shops over the years and have only ever once came out of them feeling as if i'd got a good deal and that was getting a little known (but excellent hand made US guitar) from one of the shops dirt cheap cos the sales guy didnt know it was worth £1200, i did but i didn't tell him so it goes both ways
