On multiple choice questions:
First, narrow down the answers that you know are not correct.
Then, if you're still TOTALLY CLUELESS, pick the answer with the most words in it. It won't work every time, but I'm serious when I say that it's a pattern.
Why? Well, tests cost money to produce. If the answers are shorter, less paper is used. Space will not often be wasted on longer answers. Individual teachers who make out tests aren't going to waste the time it takes to write out long answers either.
I have a degree in testing. I know what I'm talking about.
