i think what richiew2001 means about criminals coming from religious backgrounds is that the kids rebel against their religious parents by becoming criminals. (i hope ive interpreted it right?)
sometimes its hard to see if ppl are born bad or become bad through their environment, e.g. i know a kid who is weird and bad and i have no idea where its from - his parents arent bad, hes not rebelling against them, hes not abused, he doesnt have bad role models, hes not bullied (hes the school bully actually) - it makes u think that maybe he was just born bad.

If the Church of England actually go and appoint a gay bishop, the whole worldwide anglican community will fragment, and they'll probably go broke. Thats what's preventing a gay bishop accepting his/her appointment.

so basically its about money, not ethics, then. thats not actually all that surprising, seeing how rich the church is. they want to hang on to all their wealth.
