the worst time ever to get a hangover is at night. i very very rarely get them and their usually feeble but once i got a pounding one at about 11 o clock one night (been drinkin a week str8 long story) and i felt close to death.

Waking hangovers are awful!! - I started drinking in the morning last Saturday for the playoff game (was queing before the pub opened to get the best seats in the house!).... & felt awful all evening!!
