It's weird, it has been 9 years since it all came out and even kids that are about 7 that I teach, know the stories and fear him.

Unfortunely, they can do all they want to him, it won't be enough, what he did is absolutely horrible, and how many persons helped him in fact ??? and how many were arrested ? Yes Goose he is horrible, once the police was in the house to check if the little girls were there, in fact they were in the cellar behind a wall, they couldn't see there was a cellar there, and the police left the house ..... this man is sick but hopefully they said he knew what he was doing so he can be judged normaly.

Too bad belgium doesn't have the deadpenalty cause this man deserves it.
We here in Holland even fear him. He is insane! He should be locked up forever with no chaneg to escape.

The thing about jails is if you deserve respect you get it whereas if you go around doing shit like that you're a marked man so they should just toss him in there and let the hard men sort him out.

I was on holiday in Belgium when Ann and Eefje were missing - I remember seeing flyers with their pictures on everywhere.

I didnt realise that the case was known outside Belgium too (well except for the neighbours then) but now I think about it ... We watched a tv-program back then with reports from all kinds of countries ...

That is a horrible tragedy, but here it is all too common.

Today on the news in NY, some guy killed his girlfriend and then cut out all of her organs and put them on the kitchen table. Yesterday, some guy strangled his girlfriend and then tried to cut her up with a fork and knife. Everyday there is something terrible going on, especially in NY.

It's never common but i see what you mean, even if we have some sad and scary stories here too, it's not that much. But big towns like NY with so much people .... it happens ten times more than anywhere else.
