For all those of you who don't know him, Eddie is a British stand up comedian who can stand on a stage and talk utter ******** for an hour or two and make it all hysterically funny. He's also a transvestite, but like he says, it's like a gay person woking in a bank; there's no relation between his cross dressing and comedy, or there rarely is- sometimes there'll be a little bit in his show about transvesties, i.e. the Teritorial Army First Transvestite brigade, airbourne wing... that one's a classic!

And those of you who do know him- what's your favourite Eddie Quote/skit?

So do let me know!

And I'm interested to know how many Americans and how many French people have heard of him, as he sold out for 4 months on broadway, and performs in French
Hi Laura,

You have his recent DVD then?

the stuff in French is great - I'd love to see him live... come to Manchester Eddie!

Do you like Peter Kay ?

Yes Goose!

Apologies I've been away- I've been confusing hippies by hunting foxes and then going to anti war protests!

But that's another kettle of fish!

YEs, I do have his recent DVD, and am chuffed because I understand all the french without having ever put the subtitles on! YOOHAR! lol

Not a big Peter Kay fan, I must admit, but I have been asked that question a lot when I bring up Eddie; are their styles similar, or is it just freaky coincidence?!

He's going on tour this year, and I'm planning on being there in Britain, and maybe with a bit of luck, in France too!

So remember guys, a few Izzardite facts...

Your virginity CAN be given back to you the next morning
Guns don't kill people, people kill people (And so do Monkeys, if they've got a gun)
The Spanish Inquisition was far too inquisitive, it should have been the Spanish Casual Chat
The people in the Death Star Canteen serve Darth VAder Penne Aribiata with peas

TOTAL CLOTHING RIGHTS!

Love
Laura
