Default Election in Finland
We have the election of a new parliament in Finland today. Well, actually, for the past 3 weeks we have been able to cast a pre-vote, today is the final day to vote.

We had a local election just yesterday and I forgot to vote- 50 dollars in fines down the drain............DOH!

Doesn't sound very democratic to me... Is it because of low rate of voting in previous elections, or has it been like that right from the beginning?

Yup. I actually have no idea why I voted who I voted. I quess this being the first time, I just kind of voted randomly.

I've been voting for almost six years now, and it's always been the same party. But I still vote for a person, not a party.

Can I ask which party you voted for? No need to answer if you think that's too personal - I understand completely. Would be nice to know tho.
