I went to vote with my Mom & Dad earlier today, cause I'm still officially registered in my old home town, the same place where they vote. Then we drove back to Turku and went out to have dinner... And then when my folks went to a jazz concert I went to have the first "terassijuoma" of this year at the outdoor terrace deck of Svarte Rudolf, one of our river boats.

Oh and about who I voted, I basically played "eeny meeny miney mo" (or however you spell that) on the actual candidate, but the party had been clear for some time already. I guess you could say I'm red 'n' green, in that order.

I voted for "Kristillisdemokraatit" because I'm sick of the big parties' fights. I'm not very religious, but I think that they represent traditional values.

I can't understand how someone can FORGET to vote, here it's impossible because all we've been hearing for the last month is about the election and parties and candidates (and Iraq).

Heh, and I went to have "vaaliteetä ja Baileysia", tea and Baileys, after dining w/ my folks.

As long as you guys didn't vote for Kokoomus, I love you all... LOL.

Hmph. Looks like Finland has gone right wing then, along with most other European countries. Altho I guess it's better to have the moderate right wing Keskusta winning than Kokoomus which is a more distinctively right-wing party. And it's also good that Vihreät (the Greens) gained 3 more representatives, even tho I didn't personally vote for them this time. Still, I would've wanted Vasemmistoliitto (Left Wing Alliance) to keep their 20 MPs.
