Electronic attack slow down your internet access??

Just heard that electronic attack slow down the internet globally..did you notice it?? I wasn't online last weekends..so i don't really know..

This is from CNN:
Traffic on the many parts of the Internet slowed dramatically for hours early Saturday, the apparent effects of a fast-spreading, virus-like infection that overwhelmed the world's digital pipelines and interfered with Web browsing and delivery of e-mail.

I heard this too on CNN, but I thought it was limited to corporate networks?

It attacked loads of servers. My internet connection was down all Saturday & some of yesterday.

Most of Slovenia was down Saturday 7am-5pm. Luckily, drycounty.com server is in USA :P
