Default England v Iceland +

What did you think of the game?

If Im honest I think Iceland looked poor and made us look better than we are right now, so not a great test, but some good goals. At least it will give our boys some confidence .

Im worried about the game against France.

Last time England and France were in the same group... Sweden and Denmark made it to the quater finals.

I never thought for one minute we would get such a high score over Iceland, even though they are such weak opposition. It was a great confidence booster, ahead of Sundays clash with France, but its gonna be a whole different game, against the holders. I just hope theyre prepared, mentally and physically. Its a huge game.

In Euro 2004, England MUST win 2 games and get a draw out of the other game in the group stages. For me, Nothing less than a draw will do aginst France. CMON LADS!

I never read too much into these friendlies, especially with all the changes we made to the team (which I understand we had to do). Svens record though stands for itself, only one defeat in all competitive matches for England, and that was against Brazil
