if portugal can successfully stop rooney (and i mean not only prevent him from scoring, but also from giving assists, english getting free kicks for fouls against rooney etc.) they will have good chances to win the game. england is dangerous and will probably score, but portugal will also score against them if they have a good day...

Jeez, not a lot of people flying the flag of St. George outside our own walls are there?!? Oh well, there's gonna be a lot of disappointed people on Thursday night, not least the Portugese!

Sorry, I'm just winding you up! It'll be a close one and if I were to be completely neutral (or as close as I can be!) I'd say England might just edge it if, as has been said, they don't give away too many set-pieces in their half.
