English Football and Cricket - What's the difference?

I'm sorry but Gary Nevil is looking like one of the best right back around now. This has been by far his best season, and he just looks simply solid (discarding the City game of cource)....

Rio played crap, but are you forgetting the world cup???? He was amazing in that, and now that he's at a REAL football club, he's going to get even better!

Ashley Cole I've never really rated that highly, but he's had a few good games for Arsenal, he was on fire in the Spurs game, and really if it wasn't for him, they'd have lost that. I think he could potensially still be a pretty good player, and certainly an England first team player (who would you put in his place)

David James....oh well, we move on!

Scholes is briliant; probably the best player England have!



In terms of this being our best team, we were also short Gerarde, Butt, Nevil (phil), Seaman.

Bring a home grown Nottingham talent on & we start doing stuff - that late goal was only 'cos we had to push up to try & correct the mess caused by the 'United' team!! (Although that pass was a bit special).

Keown was a great defender, is now a good defender, will never wear an England shirt again! He just won't a place against the paice, and power of Brown!

I'm sorry but the few games I"ve seen of Liverpool this season have shown him to be less than average. I know he can be brilliant, but he's just not on it at the moment. I woulnd't sit him on the bench on his current form!

Dyer, Jennas... again, good, but I just think there are better around!
