 Ive met about 15-20 people from here now, and iv never had a bad word to say about any of them.

I haven't met anyone from here yet. I would like to maybe meet a few, but I'm not gonna trek too far afield. If I'm in an area near others though then I don't see why we couldn't meet. So you're in Liverpool then Kev, being an Everton fan? Scouse accents are funny, and usually get made fun of around where I live. I live near Blackburn by the way, Accrington to be precise. Does anyone remember that old advert (commercial) that used to come on the telly. The Liverpool fan that used to say:
"Ian Rush says that if I drink milk, when I grow up I'll be able to play for Accccchhhhrington Stanley." "Accccccchhhhrington Stanley? Who are they?" "Exaaaaacchhtly!" LOL that advert was mega!

LOL @ Rob. Yeah I support Everton. I was actually saying to Brooke on the phone that a lot of people take the piss out of us scousers. We have a bad reputation, but not all of us are bad. I like to think I am one of the good ones :P
I love that advert btw. One I will never forget. Its a total classic. I think a lot of accents are funny. I love the yorkshire accent and the Geordie accent. And now, of course I love the Jersey accent.  The Glaswegian accent is cool also, but most Glaswegian folk that I have met, I have found, that its allmost impossible to get a word in edgeways Jim rocks though

I've met people from here and had nothing but a good time. Let me know when you're coming Kev and I'll try to meet up with you and Brooke. It's always nice to make new connections.
If anyone is coming to Jersey for concerts this fall or spring - assuming that there are any - let me know. Perhaps we could set up a meeting place close to the concert - or at the concert. I've spent time in London so I guess I know what a real live Enlish person sounds like Kathleen
