Bad intelligence yes. When Colin Powell presents himself to the UN to justify the 2003 war with a revamped report from the 1991 war, it's bad intelligence.

The 3 main reasons to go to war advanced by Bush (WMDs, link to 9/11 and direct threat to US citizens) all proved to be wrong. That's bad intelligence.

Well at least as a lousy excuse for a lousy President.
Yes, my friend Bill Clinton had a chance to take out Bin Laden to and he didn't. Also, I really doubt that most of those WMDs were supplied by those countries exclusively. Saddam developed some of his own weapons and used them on his own people. You'd be naive to think he didn't get some weapons from some of his pals in the Middle East.

And for having the long run in mind well... no one in that administration had anything in mind on a longer run than "Saddam must be taken out".

Never had a better chance than Bush did when Bin Laden was in a Dubaï hospital, and was visited by CIA agents, a couple of months BEFORE 9/11.

In the Iran-Iraq war when he built most of his arsenal, he didn't have that many pals. And these pals themselves if they did have some weapons to supply, did not have WMDs. So no, I'm not being naïve. The WMDs and the associated technology came from the three countries I stated earlier.

Thank God that not all American are like some in this thread. You know there isn't much difference between you & a terrorist...
That is also exact the reason (the way you think) why more & more people turn against the US, and let me tell you one thing, without allies, the US means shit

Next to that, howcome the US has the most war-casualties ever, after the vatican?

Some countries terrorize and kill in the name of their religion. Other countries terrorize and kill in the name of patriotism.

Only fools value one over the other. At a closer look, they are both exactly the same.
