I reckon France or Portugal will win.

As for Englands chances, I think we have a good chance of getting to the semis, but every year I get my hopes up for us and it all ends in tears. If we get a good win early on (like we did against Argentina in 02) the whole country goes mad and thinks we cant lose.

To repeat what I wrote in the Iceland thread, I never thought for one minute we would get such a high score over Iceland, even though they are such weak opposition. It was a great confidence booster, ahead of Sundays clash with France, but its gonna be a whole different game, against the holders. I just hope theyre prepared, mentally and physically. Its a huge game.

In Euro 2004, England MUST win 2 games and get a draw out of the other game in the group stages. For me, Nothing less than a draw will do aginst France. CMON LADS.

Im pretty confident we can get past thr group stages and think we can get to the semi's but it all depends who we end up meeting and if luck is on our side. Everyteam needs a certain amount of luck along the way. One thing for sure. This is the new age for England. I think this year and the World Cup in 2 years time, will be a fantastic chance for us to emulate the hero's of '66

What are your favorite teams? Italy and Holland - Forza Azzurri and Oranjes!

Do you honestly think that England will be playing after the first round? Yes, until the second round

Will France fill the expectations as good as in korea 2002? No

Does Holland remember what is it like to play in major tournament? Yes!!!

Is Spain going to do the usual? What's the 'usual'?

hmm, isn't that a slight contradiction??

anyway...here's some answers. don't take everything too serious. it's just a vision, and a guess what could happen. it's possible that everything will be different.

What are your favorite teams? Switzerland Holland, Sweden and Denmark

Do you honestly think that England will be playing after the first round? actually i hope not. ok, i hope that france will be out, but i don't think that will happen, so i hope england will be out instead.

Will France fill the expectations as good as in korea 2002? hehe, would be funny! but i think they will make it to the quater final this time. but not further...

Does Holland remember what is it like to play in major tournament? yes, they will. they will play good and they will come to the semi final, where they will be kicked out in penalties. i hope that the very good players (like nistelrooy) will start scoring for their national team, and not only for the clubs where they usually play.

Is Spain going to do the usual? nope. they will win! they will be champions. i don't hope that this will happen, but i think it will happen. can't exactly say why.

Once again itīs the last chance for Portugals "Golden generation" to win something. This time maybe even the place on the second round? they will play very good until the semi final, where they will be kicked out. they will score the most goals and play fantastic, but in the end they will be on place 4.

I don't have a favorite to be honest, I think England has a really good chance, and clearly France has a great team but who knows...maybe Portugal or Spain could be the lucky winners this time...It'll be fun!!!
