Lets undo thousands of years of heritage just because the French and Germans dont like having an economy that cant rival America's...

Those thousands of years of heritage you treasure came from all over Europe, and even the world, and are in no way the possession of any country.
European Union (as I see it, not as it's being carried out) isn't only economical, it's gotta be social, cultural, educational, scientific, etc...
That doesn't mean all europeans should be the same, but that all cultures are accessible for every european to share. Did Welsh, Scottish or Irish culture disappear under the Union Jack?

Europe has borders with non European countries, but countries like france I detest (the people are weak willed led by very unintelligent leaders.

it is simple-the french for years have never sent or made any checks on illegal immigrants trying to get into Britain. indeed it was comon knowledge that foreign smuggling gangs were able to operate in impunity due to the failure of the french immigration and police force to take action.
as long as the illegals left France and went to Britain that was not their problem!!!!!!
The french as a nation are anti british and as a result we brits hate their nation with a passion. I have nothing against illegal immigrants here -it is their stories of months of misery living in France and trying to get to the UK in desparate ways that i feel sorry for.
European law states that an illegal immigrant escaping from war, famine and bigotry and rascism must report themselves to the first free European safe haven and be treated there. France ignores this ruling.

That means 83% voted for democracy. You're judging the whole people of France refering to only 17% of the persons who voted on this election.

LePen reached the second round of the election because he came in front of Lionel Jospin (Parti Socialist and Prime minister at the time) who had a lousy campaign in the first round. A huge exagerated media campaign about how Jospin's government had failed to reduce insecurity also helped LePen. Plus Chirac did everything to not face Jospin in the second round because then he would have been sure to lose his seat.
On the elections that followed a month later (for the french parlement), Lepen and friends hardly reached 8%. But of course, you wouldn't mentioned that.
Oh and besides, I'm the French guy here and I'm not the one proud of HATE towards anyone on this thread.


If it's that easy to check illegal immigrants, why can't Britain do it by herself? Do you know anything about immigration, legal or not, in France or the rest of Europe?
Do you know how many persons from how many different countries live in France?
You don't want a European Union, mainly because you hate France, but you'd like France to help you out... You want a one way collaboration, is that it? Or maybe you'd like immigration to be a european issue... But then we'd need a union... But oh no, you don't want that...

What does Britain saving France in the World Wars have to do with immigration? What do you want? France to serve Britain forever?

Do you know how many illegal immigrants are staying right now in Normandie because France refuses to let them take a ferry to England?

And of course you don't mention the thousands of jews that were hidden and saved by french families. You forget to say that a third of France has never been occupied by the nazis. You forget to consider that a lot of people were simply scared to death. You forget to say that leaders of what were called collaborators with the nazis were trialed and executed.
You forget to imagine how people in your country would have behaved if the nazies had occupied their land. You forget to mention that this was 3 generations ago. Guess you hate Germans too because of how they behaved in WW2, and Italians, and Japanese, and Fins...

Just because Britain might never completely join doesn't mean it won't happen. It is happening. 25 countries have joined.
I'd be glad to see the UK join, honnestly, because it's a great nation and because I don't hate anybody, except narrow minded persons like you. Fortunately, you won't represent the majority of your great people.
