Ever had a broken heart.....?

I had my heart broken twice when I was younger like other said here a broken heart makes you stronger ........but a heart broken by friends (in a friend relation ship) is really hard to recover from

been close but i don't like putting too much of my happiness in the hands of someone else so i try to avoid anything like that arising.

yes unfortunately, many times.
And always by a woman.
And a couple of times by the same one.

Unfortunately yes. Four times by a man and maybe a couple of times by friends. With friends, I just seem to be too naïve and blue-eyed and trusting sometimes. And with men...well, loving someone or falling in love with someone -- which btw I consider to be two different things -- tends to do that to you, if the person you love or have fallen in love with doesn't feel the same towards you anymore or hasn't ever felt the same. Love hurts, it's a fact of life.

I had some heart broken...... since u can say its mostly one sided love, it may not count.....??.

dunno how many times it was broken, but only two people managed to do it.

Yes and quite recently. It's just something that happens to everyone but you just have to get through it and move on. No matter how bad it is for you, 100 times worse happens to people every day. For example I was with my girlfriend for 10 months, pretty intense months too, when we broke up, but there are people that are married for years that break up, and who have responsibilities together like children and stuff, which is so much worse than anything I, or I'd guess most on this board, have gone through.

As for friends breaking your heart I can relate to that, certainly, but it's a bit different when it happens with someone youre romantically involved with. Invariably they tend to be, and this sounds cliched, a close friend as well as your boy/girlfriend, so, in my experience, that sort of heartbreak is much worse.
