never mind moving abroad, moving down south. my auntie had a hamper made for her, when she moved daaarn saaarf, of all the things they don't get that we have. there was a meat and potato pie (though thankfully greggs have now moved down there), mushy peas (which chip shops down there don't do), vimto (!!! this was a few years ago, things have changed!) and the list went on.

one thing i hate is asking for a sausage in a chippy down south and getting one of those horrible pink savaloy things.
