Supposedly they are threatening the Danish and Italians next, unless they get out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

As for the suspicious package, I heard it may have been a bomb which didn't go off. Now they can research it for evidence to clarify who did this.

Al-Qaida has claimed responsibility for blasts in London. According to the German Spiegel, "Secret organization - al-Qaida in Europe" called the Islamic community to free themselves in a statement published on an Islamists' site.

The terrorists claim, that they have warned the UK earlier, and that today's blasts are a "military counter-operation." The terrorists also threaten Danish and Italian governments, as well as other countries, and urge them to withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

That's an previously unknown cell, so it might be fake.

If this happens in Rome and Copenhagen, there will be a world war against the Al-Quaeda. They're only digging their own grave.

Digging their own grave? My god, the world is 'at war' with terrorism for
almost 4 years now and what did it bring us? A major attack in Madrid,
hundreds of attacks in Iraq, the attacks in London today.

Oh, the world has gotten so much safer over the last years, thanks!

If this all proves one thing, it's that we can not eliminate them the way
it's been done at the moment.

My friend is supposed to leave for a trip to London, Italy and France tonight. The first stop is London of course. The travel company, based out of London, said that they won't refund his money if he cancels because it isn't as bad as the media is making it out to be. What do you guys think?

Luckily overland trains are running from London Bridge, & we are allowed to go now. Unfortunately Anna works very near Liverpool street station & is staying with me at the moment - so need to somehow meet her & get the hell out of here.
ok Mike, good luck be safe....

They started seriously digging that grave on 11/9/01...it's time the free world nailed the lid on it's coffin.

they have said that a lot of London looks normal . Its just the transport in and out of London that is the problem and probably wont reopen for at least 24hrs + maybe more in certain areas.
