I remember the health craze being around for many many years. Remember Richard Simmons? He had his heydays. Oprah's many many attempts to loose weight, etc. Unfortunately, people will always do what they want - convenience is just a priority for most people that and the fact that we all work more and have less time to actually shop for 'real' food, etc.

The alternatives to frys are apple slices with a caramel dip and that is supposed to be healthy.

Maybe it has nothing to do with liking everything the band does, but instead people are just excited about getting some new recipes. Different strokes for different folks.
You guys are making way to much of this.
Someone started a weightloss thread over there in Non Jovi. Mrs. B read it and thought it would be a good idea to add 1 or 2 low fat recipes in the fanzine. If there is room. This isn't going to be pages and pages of recipes.
One or two small ones. She even specified they need to be no longer then 1 paragraph. They certainly aren't going to bump any band news out of the fanzine for a recipe. Mouse is right. It has nothing to do with liking what the band does. Just an idea Mrs B had, to share new low fat recipes with other BJ fans.

Here is the exact post:

"Mrs B said she heard about the weight loss thread and is very excited. Being a diabetic and wanting to lose weight has been such a challenge. She would love to share your recipes in the newsletter as long as they are, simple and quick.

She means she doesn't want 3 pages of ingredients and spend 4 hours in the kitchen.
Has to be like one paragraph from start to finish, to post in this newsletter, so we can share them with our brothers and sisters around the world.

Put the total calorie count.
Send in to the FC ASAP for this coming issue.

PS Everything included from soup to entrees to appetizers to salads and deserts.
Use your imagination if you can think of any more.

And don't worry if it doesn't hit this issue, if we get enough we will share them in future issues.
And if you want a photo of you with it, send it in. We'll make you a star! "
I can see it now BON JOVI BOLOGNESE , BEEFY BON JOVI

Well I still think it is a bad idea... I want a f*cking rock 'n roll band!! Not a band who share diet recipes in their fanmag! They say that they aren't a boyband.... well I'm not so sure anymore.

But I like the idea of the spaghetti shapes

The Bon Jovi loose weight support group. Did we join th ewrong fanclub perhaps??????
it just happened that I was talking about backstage today and was thinking: lets get over there again and check out what's happening. I came accross this item as well and thought the same thing.
that has nothing to do with bon jovi, and I think stuff like this should be happening on the internet, not on the very expensive magazine that is already too thin.
