Somehow, I can´t imagine, in any circumstance, me eating English breakfast. Just thinking about it makes my stomach go all-around.
I used to think that too. I couldn't imagine having English breakfast, it sounded disgusting. Then one time last October Tom's dad made it for me, and I loved it!!! It's so good, and especially if you have a hangover that's the best breakfast you can have. Of course we only have it once every two weeks or so, and if you make it properly it's not too fatty - grill the bacon, which gets rid of excessive fat, and poach the eggs. It's really really good!!! I can't have sausages in my English breakfast though, I hate English sausages

just not having the right sausages m'dear.

A fry up is one of the few delicacies our great little nation has given the world and it's your loss if you won't try it.

I love whacked a fried egg (runny yoke is a must) bit of sausage, potato scone, some bacon and beans on a roll and covering it with tomato sauce.

this is making me far too hungry, i'm, going to go and see if i can find anywhere in town that does a roll with all that on it.

No Kabanossi or HK Sininen.

And I still have to say, I like my breakfast not-that-heavy. All that greasy food sounds awful for breakfast.

That's what everybody keeps saying. But nothing I've tried I've liked.

I'm also starving for English breakfast now Maybe tomorrow at the airport, Stansted has an excellent restaurant which serves breakfast all day and it's really good!

The way I figure, English breakfast sounds as disgusting as eating mämmi for breakfast, and that ladies and gentlemen is not very good.

I could make English breakfast for you one day, maybe on the Sunday two weeks from now, then we'll see

I usually have some cheese or lunchmeat sandwiches... Sometimes oat porridge and sometimes yoghurt & muesli... But I can't live without a proper breakfast - that's for sure!

And I love English breakfasts! Can't wait for the first week of 2005 when I'll be in London and can enjoy a proper English breakfast .

Runny yoke is a must, I agree.
I always though it was spelled "yolk". Which, BTW is the way Merriam-Webster lists it. Althoug "Yoke" is a variant...
