BTW, pudding with blood in it can't be a good way to start off the day.

Crips are called chips everywhere in the world except the UK, where they are called crisps. UK chips are known elsewhere as French fries. It's very confusing.

And as horrible as it sounds to non-English people, (UK)crisps (US)chips are considered a snack in England, or even as a variant of potatoes as a side dish for meals. eh? a side to a meal? can;t remember the last restauraunt that had quavers on the menu or anytime i've had crisps with a meal.

places like greggs and subway sell crisps because they're a snack.

eh? fish and chips??? any sandwich could come with (US)chips (UK)crisps and often burger places give you the option between (US)chips (UK)crisps or (US) french fries (UK) chips......... lol.

i hope that fish and chips comment was supposed to be a joke.

as io said, places like greggs and subway sell them but thats not exactly what i look upon as a meal with a side and i'm assuming subways etc... across the world do the same.
