what do u consider to be the best guitar solos ever- post as many as u like

i'd say Eruption by Edward Van Halen- 1min 42 secs of pure genius

The final countdown - Europe (that is probably the best!)

Devilson and Laura, respectively a man and woman with good taste! i'd add Richie Kotzen to the Mr Big list also though since my favourite at the moment is Green Tinted Sixties Mind (intro at least!)

gilmour: crazy diamond, comfortably numb

blackmore - spotlight kid

uli jon roth - cast away your chains (amazing !!! all guitarists check this out - i decided to learn it and it's far from easy)
