Default Filing Taxes

I filed my taxes on line today and I have to pay in. If you're single, with no kids, and have a half-way decent job you get NO breaks!!! I can't even afford to buy my own house and yet I have to pay MORE taxes.

Enjoy it while you can, Students! Once you start making money, the government takes half of it. Well, maybe not HALF--at least not in my tax bracket.

The sentence "I even can't buy my own house" amuses me somehow. Here in Germany houses are that expensive that only well-situated people can buy one. Most people here pay rent for the houses/appartements they live in.

I agree with Sambo-Chris.
It is really expensive to buy a house here.
But i also know that houses and ground in the states are a lot cheaper than here, so that explains it.
But i almost laughed when i read it, Becky
