Isn't it like that in most areas in Europe, with high population densities... For the price of one square meter in Amsterdam, one can buy a lot in Australia - it's just a matter of space

But even then I know quite a lot of students who are looking for a house to buy in Amsterdam (with friends), rather than renting one... as the waiting list for rented houses are practically infinte over here! I registered myself two years ago as someone who's looking for a rented house in Amsterdam. I might be able to find one in about 6 years..., with some luck
