Finding a mate

I struggle finding suitable people too and I'm only 20. My problem is though that when I do find someone suitable I bottle myself up and hide when I really need to make an effort to talk to them. Another problem is that I don't get out enough either. Most of my friends have girlfriends, so they don't go out much, and when they do they're not looking for women as I am.

I agree it is getting harder, but only because you are getting pickier.

Face it, by now you pretty much know exactly what you want and you won't put up with a lot of stuff you would have 10 years ago.

My boss got a divorce a few months ago and I am VERY privy to his endeavors. Sickens me. Unfortunately, he is one of many out there - very scary.

The older you get, the more of your peers have already gotten married, or married and divorced. And it's true that you get pickier. When you're young, there's a more even playing field. The older you get, the more you realize what you value and what you're not going to compromise on. The more your expectations, the fewer the people who can fill them. I'm not even talking about grand things... just try finding a straight, moral, intelligent, employed male who can have a conversation! That's not too much to ask, but it's hard as hell to find.

while that is true, it didn't change with age. The ratio of guys with the above qualities was the same 10 years ago, but it either didn't matter so much or we didn't realize it soon enough.

maybve its just the cider talkign but i think u should all stop moaning get married and find ur way about the kitchen like u should have a long time ago.
