I hate fireworks. They always have loads of fireworks here with New Year, I really hate it, always stay indoors and never go and look. People are just so stupid with fireworks, the amount of accidents that happen is unbelievable.

No, not people....teenagers. Stupid teenagers that set them off in the street and throw them at cars and people.

We always have ours in my grandparents garden, and always light them safely and aim rockets so they don't hit houses, lol.

you're a teenager.

i think they can be good if the surroundings are right. back garden displays are boring but going to an organised event with your girlfriend, a woolly hat, gloves, treacle toffee and a bonfire and nothing beats it.

No, not just teenagers.. people! Last year a 55 year old guy blew his hand off!! I mean that's just stupid. I mean they always tell you that if a firework doesn't go off, leave it alone and still people go and check it, I mean why not play Russian roulette??

youve obviously never seen one of my dads 'back garden' displays!

hehe

but it is predominantly teenagers that cause the biggest problem.. cause nowadays they look 18 when theyre 14 (if theyre tall) so can get away with buying them.
but youre correct in that it isnt just teenagers.

grr

my mate said he saw a story bout a german guy in the paper that tried to do the jackass thing (set a rcket off from huis ass) but the rocket fell just before it launched and ended u blowing off his genitalia.

i say it's an extreme form of evolution (people who shoot fireworks out of their ass shouldnt be allowed to reproduce) and the guy definetely sounds like a future darwin award winner.

saying that. 2 years ago i was down a mates house at christmas and we raidied his drinks cabinet and got absolutely leathered. for some reason he had rockets in his kitchen and stodd in the middle of the kitchen and launched it out of his window later on we were sitting and someone smelt gas and the same intelligent person lit his lighter to see if tere was probably another darwin winner.

Stupid people (teens included) will always do stupid stuff. That's no reason to ban fireworks. Millions of people use them safely every year.
