The only reason she didnt get it, is because there are more cricket fans out there, than sailing. If sailing was a bigger 'sport' then she would, or could, have have had a better chance of winning.
I got ur point but I'm sure u guys not telling same thing if it was some footballer and he was from ur fav team lol...

An individual sports award of any kind almost had to go to Flintoff, as it highlights just how desperate The Mother Country was to regain the Ashes after 18 years in the wilderness, and he was the main man in achieving that.

By the way, the next Ashes touring schedule has already been announced, so any Poms wanting to head Down Under for what should be a hard-fought battle for supremacy, I'd start planning. Believe me when I say that Australians have been waiting for a fight like this on home turf for YEARS!! Tickets will be scarce come next September/October.

I definately want to go to Australia at some point. It would be a good opportunity to take a holiday for 2-3 weeks and support us Poms. It will be a great series. If one of the tests is at Melbourne I may head for that one. I've heard it's one of the best cities in the world from my friends who have recently been in Oz for a year and did all the east coast. What would you say is the best Australian city, or venue to go and watch the cricket Cristo? I've heard Tazmania is great too.
